Mustafa Maluka (South Africa), former Thami Mnyele guest, presents his latest work during a solo exhibition at Michael Stevenson gallery in Cape Town. The Interview (a transcript) will comprise a series of Maluka's signature paintings, head-and-shoulders portraits that draw stylistically on the history of painting and mark-making with a street culture edge, presented as an installation and accompanied by a soundtrack album.
