Congratulations !!!! for the winners of the AFK amsterdam art kunstprijs 2018 “the Black Archives” , Jeffery Babcock and Liesbeth Coltof.

It was wonderful for the Thami Mnyele Foundation to be nominated . The attention for our work is now been recognized by many many people. We thank the persons who nominated us!
We also thank the jury: choreograph Monique Duurvoort, creative producer Talitha Stijnman , Simone Weimans and curators Hans den Hartog Jager en Pieter Verbeke. We loved the beautiful ceremony with the art performances, the music and the stimulating speeches by the AFK director Annabelle Birnie, jury chairperson Simone Weimans and the cultural 'wethouder' Touria Meliani. The brooch as symbol of the nomination made by Frederik Roije is very much appreciated . And we like to thank all the people from the AFK amsterdam kunstprijs 2018 who put this all together ! THANK YOU AMSTERDAM !!!!
