We like to bring to your attention the lecture by Okwui Enwezor on contemporary African art on 21st January organized by The Prince Claus Fund

Okwui Enwezor, renown Nigeria born curator and art critic will elaborate on the development of contemporary African art since 1980. He reflects on the ways artists have responded to change and how they have incorporated new aesthetic principles and artistic concepts, images and imaginaries to deal with such changes. Okwui Enwezor will take the opportunity to present his latest publication Contemporary African Art Since 1980 (Damani, 25 October 2009).
