The documentary "Difficult Love" directed by Zanele Muholi and Peter Goldsmid received the AITP (Africa in the Picture Film Festival) Audience Award as best short film.

Zanele Muholi as been guest at the Thami Mnyele Foundation studio in Amsterdam in 2009.
