We would like to bring to your attention the interview by Marina De Vries from Volkskrant newspaper with Koyo Kouoh, curator of the exhibition 'Hollandaise' at Stedelijk Museum Bureau Amsterdam. Koyo Kouoh was guest at the Thami Mnyele Foundation for several days during the exhibition.

In the interview the internationally reknown curator Koyo Kouoh argues that contemporary African art is very much alive. In the exhibition 'Hollandaise', about the Dutch fabric Vlisco exported to Africa, Koyo Kouoh wants to show the close ties between the Netherlands and Africa. The exhibition 'Hollandaise' brings together artists from Ghana, Mali, South-Africa and the Netherlands.
