We congratulate the Thami Mnyele Foundation fellow Senzeni Marasela for her first museum solo exhibition Waiting for Gebane at Zeitz MOCAA in Cape Town, South Africa.

The exhibition centres around Marasela’s fictional alter ego, Theodorah, whom the artist based on her mother.
