Presentation about the ins and outs of the Thami Mnyele Foundation artist in residency and an artist talk with Thami Mnyele Foundation fellow Richard Kofi, who was in the residency program last year.
Artist and curator Richard Kofi (1988) sees cultural heritage as a collection of bodies with spirits and personalities. They are witnesses to violence and resilience, waiting to speak their truths about our entwined histories. With his interdisciplinary art projects, shows and exhibitions, Kofi activates these objects and lets them speak their truth.
