We are delighted to share some photos of the most recent updates of the building of Bayt Ali Gana cultural, educational, community space in Tripoli, Libya, which was founded by out fellow Hadia Gana.
Bayt Ali Gana is a project space for archiving, research, exhibition, curatorial work, training and education, debates and discussions, community engagement and programming for public spaces, and a think tank on arts in society/therapy. Founded in 2014 by Hadia Gana primarily for the preservation and protection of the work and archive of her late father Ali Gana, Bayt Ali Gana is situated in Tripoli suburbs and focuses its influence on Libya, with regional and international collaborations. Even if the space is still not finished nor officially launched, Bayt Ali Gana cultural space has now attracted interest and is regularly broadcasted by different local TV and other medias as being a pilot for cultural spaces and its influence is spreading.
