We are pleased to share the event by The forest Creative Loft and Wake studio where you can see two films by our fellow Guy Woueté.
The films are Next Week (2010), and Corridor (2010), as a well as a film by Rosie Mbakam Les deus visages d’une femme Bamileke (2016).
While "Corridor" presents a series of short clips
video and photographs, migrant camps and migrants on the streets of Malta, “Net Week” by denouncing the brutal Darwinism inherent with migration, wants to be a mantra and a space for survival, of hope for a tomorrow that could be certain.
After the screening, there will be a public discussion with Guy and curator Christel Mgba.
This film program is designed by Annabelle Venturin and Guy Woueté. He articulates the issue of work as well as the individual exhibition Bijoux Cailloux at @nw_aalst in Flemish Belgium, to which Guy Woueté is supported. The program is linked to the WAKA Studio project developed by Woueté in Penja as part of its collaboration with Netwerk Aalst.
